“Bright and Scrappy” Workshop Day with Carol Helson
One day “holiday” workshop great for beginners (and /or daughters, nieces, visiting relatives who you love dearly but really need to get out of the house !!). A quick and easy machine-pieced, fun quilt using brights and “soft brights”. Pre-cut kits will be available for easy sewing or you may prefer to bring your own.

“Trip Around The world” Workshop Day with Brigitte Giblin
Use quick cutting and a clever method of strip machine piecing to make Brigitte’s version of Trip Around The World. Be guided by Brigitte into an unusual fabric combination to make your own unique quilt.

“Cushion” Workshop Day with Sue Cody
A delightful quilt-as-you-go cushion with Suffolk puff centres. A must-have for any elegant room.

Machine Quilting with Deborah Louie: Machine quilting is a valuable addition to your repertoire of techniques. This is a two day workshop with the first day covering all the basics, including marking, basting and waddings, ditch and straightline stitching and free motion quilting such as stippling, hearts and flowers. The second explores stippling, swirls, flowers, textures, many patterns, continuous curves, non-marking quilting and much more. This is a “not-to-be missed” workshop, and all done on a domestic sewing machine !

Due to popular demand, we have some new dates for this 2 day workshop.
Stage One: Wednesday Feb 27th 10.00am – 4.00pm
Stage Two: Wednesday March 26th 10.00am – 4.00pm
Cost: $160 for the 2 days
And for those you who may prefer to come on a Saturday:
Stage One: Saturday May 10th 10.00am – 4.00pm
Stage Two: Saturday May 31st 10.00am – 4.00pm
Cost: $160 for the 2 days

Sit and Sew
Due to popular demand, our “Sit and Sew” sessions will now be on the 1st and 3rd Thursday of each month. These sessions are a good chance to catch up on projects, get to meet fellow quilters and exchange exciting ideas in a relaxed and friendly environment. Don’t feel you have to sign up for a season of these sessions though, just book if you’d like to attend that particular month. We have a maximum of 10 quilters at these sessions so it will be on a “first come, first served” basis !
Dates/ time: 10.00am – 2.00pm Thursday, 22nd November, 6th and 20th December, and 17th January (closed 3rd Jan).
Cost: $10. Includes morning tea with cake and a lunch-time cuppa !
